So very long story but will try and keep it short. I have been prescribed both mefanamic acid (I've taken on and off for a number of months) and tranexamic acid (prescribed new this month) and finally I had lighter periods and a lot less pain! Hallelujah :D until whilst I was on holiday I had spotting (but it was like period day 4 amount of blood) for just an evening and then when I have returned I have been hit with a full on period (which is painful and very heavy). I didn't travel to a different timezone but the temp was hotter. I haven't taken the medication for this new period because I fear it may be a side effect that isn't listed. Do I go to my doctor or pharmacist about this? Is this normal for starting new medication?
