Starting college 4 years later...

I graduated high school in 2014. I planned on taking a year off to work and after my family members and school counselor told me i wouldn’t want to go back, i didn’t. I saved up for a car and worked 24/7 and now i want to go back to college. My brothers first day to community college is tomorrow and i would enroll to the same school, but I’m embarrassed. I know i shouldn’t be and that wouldn’t be an excuse for me not to go, but did anyone else start college late? Any tips?
