Does your SO work night shift?

Question

My fiancé works second shift. 
Some nights fly by, and others go so slow lol. I can’t sleep without him, so I either stay up... or I lay down n doze off.

My husband works night shifts and out of town 5 days a week.. you'll get used to it eventually lol then not sleep as well when he comes home bc your used to stretching out and taking up the whole bed.  It will get easier.

My husband has worked shift work for 4 years now and I still hate when he's on nights! The bed just isn't the same with out him in it. Not sure I'll ever get use to it!

My husband works the night shift as well. Slowly my sleep schedule transitioned to his sleep schedule. My husband comes home at 6:30am. We sleep from 7-3 or 4. I don’t know your situation but I don’t work I just go to school. When I did work I had to learn to sleep without him. I felt like you where I couldn’t sleep with him.

No but I’m on call sometimes overnight so if I get called in my bf just goes back to sleep

I work from 9am- 6pm husband from 2pm-12:30am but has been putting in over time and gets home till 2:30am. We get to hang out on Sundays. He wakes up every morning at 6:30am to help get our daughter ready for school brushes her hair and hangs out before we leave he truly is an amazing husband ❤️

My husband will get nightshift for 7 days every few weeks depending on how they rotate it between them. I usually stay up and do my usual cleaning/errands/ect that evening once he’s left and then watch chick flicks, read, do a hobby, or nap on the couch. Back when he just left for work at 2-3am (he’d still work until the next evening, about 6/7/8pm) I’d stay up until he left and then go to bed. It helped pass the time and it was easier for me to stay up until he left that would be for me to sleep for 4 hours and then get up (no clue how he survived) 
The schedules he has rotate and the hours he works changes so often that I keep my daily routine the same the majority of the time, I just rotate the time it starts depending on when he goes to work. Doing that makes it easier than trying to find a new routine to fit every schedule
Besides that, it’s really just something ive adjusted to over the years. I’m not really affected by being alone anymore

Mine works 3rd shift. It’s hard, but we make it work. I do miss him at nights sometimes though. But I do enjoy having the bed all to myself sometimes as well lol.

I’m use to it now has been working 2 full time jobs now for 5 years 11pm to 7am and 7am to 4pm I hardly see him buy he always makes time for me and we have the same days off

My hubby has worked 2 nd shift for about 10 years so I’m used to it now. I used to get bad anxiety and not be able to sleep good.
