Is it ok to get a massage in first trimester?

My birthday is Thursday and I was going to get a massage then I started reading mixed reviews.  I am 8 weeks.

As a trained Massage therapist, first trimester massages being contraindicated is a myth. There's no scientific proof that it's bad for baby. However, most places will not do any massage in the first trimester bc they figure 2 things, better safe than sorry, and if something does happen it won't come back on them.

I was getting weekly massages after a car accident and when I told them I was pregnant they refused to do anything till I was 14+ weeks because it could case a miscarriage

You shouldn’t get a massage in the first trimester! Just wait and get one later on ! 
No professional massage therapist will agree to give you one ( it could cause miscarriage)
