OBGYN while on period ?

If you are on your period when your OBGYN appointment is scheduled would you reschedule or go to your appointment anyway?

I’d just call and see if it will hinder what they have to do. I wonder how many times they get that kind of call lol

Are u supposed to be having a vaginal exam done (pelvic and/or Pap smear)? If so, u need to call them & ask, because some doctors offices will have u reschedule, while some don’t mind as long as ur flow isn’t heavy. So, definitely call & ask.

i actually have an aapoitment on the 10th during my shark week. I asked my OBGYN and she said to just come in.

It depends on what its for.  Pap or urine test I'd  reschedule.

I would just call and ask them. One time I had a pap scheduled and my period came early so I called them and asked if that was okay, they had me re-schedule to after my period was finished. Whereas when I wanted an IUD they had me schedule my appointment during my period so insertion would be less painful (the cervix is open during menstruation)
