How long do you mamas plan on nursing for?

I am hoping to breastfeed until she turns one! She is 10 months now and I am so happy to have made it this long! Only a little while longer to go!!!

I breastfed for 19 months but only stopped because I was getting pretty far along in my pregnancy (35 weeks now) but if my son wants to start again when my daughter is born I don’t think I’d have a problem with it 🤷🏼‍♀️ if it brings him comfort then I’ll let him lol he’s not even two yet

We’re hoping for 2 years but she seems less and less interested the older she gets :( she’ll be 1 on the 17th! Just glad we made it to 1!

I plan to breastfeed as long as he and I both want, until it doesn’t make sense anymore l. I am hoping to get pregnant again, ttcing again when he is 18 months, which may complicate breastfeeding, though it took 2 years to conceive last time. I would love to breastfeed throughout my pregnancy, and then tandem nurse for a period. I don’t know if any of this will come true, but I love it! Breastfeeding past 2 years old is a huge goal.

My plan was 6 months, but here we are at 9. So then my plan was a year but now I’m decided we’ll stop when my daughter wants to. I’m in no rush!
