Yep. Didn't even feel getting it, but I had a 49 hour labor with 20 with the epidural. It was a lifesaver because my daughter was Sunnyside up with back labor. Even if my second comes twice as fast, that's still a whole day in labor. So yes, I will happily get it.

Planned a natural birth last time, had to get induced. Labored for almost 36 hours with pitocin and wasn’t progressing, after no sleep for 2 days, got the epidural, went from 4-10 in 4 hours, and was able to sleep before pushing. Best decision for how my unplanned labor went. I’m open for this time around and haven’t yet committed to one decision or other.

If I go into labor naturally and am not induced this time then I'm gonna try not to. Pitocin is the devil so if I get put on that then yes.

I’m going to try to go natural but we will see! When I was in labor with my daughter I hit 6 cm and wasn’t really progressing. The pain got so bad I was like “yup I need that epidural!” Well I had to wait for an hour for my epidural.. and by the time they were putting it in (so I still had no pain relief yet) I scream “I gotta push!” I pushed once epidural was done nurse flies over checks me I’m a 9.5! So I made it almost all the way with no epidural!

I will be having a 3rd C Section they usually do a spinal but with my 2nd I was super itchy way longer than normal so I’m honestly afraid to get it again because I’m scared I may have an allergic reaction plus honestly I rather not be itchy afterwards. I’m gonna ask can I get an epidural instead and hopefully I can. My first I had an epidural because I went in for a normal labor but ended up with an emergency c section.

I had my second son naturally but didn’t have a choice but my first had one it’s not as bad as you think or wasn’t for me .

Not sure yet, hoping I’m a good candidate for a vbac, and if so and I’m feeling good near the end then I’ll be having the baby in a birthing centre and an epidural is not an option, although I could get transferred to the hospital if I really want one. If I need another c section then obviously the choice is out of my hands. And if I don’t feel comfortable near the end of my pregnancy with the idea of a vbac then I’ll opt for a c section as I have the choice since I already had one. I’m basically gonna see how I feel and trust my gut, but I’m trying to do lots of squats and stretches to keep my body in shape and prepare for labour.
