Getting the iud out in? 
Or getting it taken out?

Getting it out in hurts.
Getting it out does not. It’s really easy

Getting it in hurt. Removing it was a cake walk in comparison.

Neither are that bad. Getting inserted is a sharper cramp, getting it taken out feels like a period. Yet I will always always say everyone is 100% different. You can never take someone’s experience and base it on your own. I would say a 3/10 for insertion and a 2/10 for taking out. Take some Advil a hour or so before either and relax while it’s happening and you’ll be fine! I’m on my second IUD currently.

I took ibuprofen an hour before insertion and didn’t feel anything more than regular period cramps. Haven’t gotten it out yet.

Hurt going in. Getting it taken out was nothing(no pain)

Had two different ones, first one hurt going in, didn’t feel it taking it it out, second on didn’t feel it when they put it in and then later it moved so they had to take it out.
