Prenatal vitamins...allergic?

I’m ttc for the first time this month. I was taking prenatal vitamins the past month. But I recently stopped because I’m pretty sure they are the cause of me breaking out in hives! 🙁 I made a doctor’s appointment to get a prescription for them instead. 
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before??

It could be something on the vitamin like a filler of some sort. I can’t take materna prenatal because hey make me so sick. But I take a multi vitamin and folic acid combined and I am totally fine.

I’m experiencing this now. New to the ttc journey and started taking Garden of Life Raw Prenatal. Three days in, I keep getting hives on my face, neck, and arms. The instructions require you to take them 3x/day. The hives come back with each dose. I’m definitely allergic. Good to know that allergic reactions are pretty common with prenatal vitamins. Following up with my OBGYN.

I'm not sure how ingesting a pill for vitamins and minerals can make you break out on hives. But if your doctor can suggest something that works better for you good luck!
