You can get cold sores ( herpes simplexis) on the mouth or genitals. Wash hands often and never touch anything after touching cold sores. If you get it your eye you can go blind

It's tge same strain, but you have it on your mouth not down there. If you go down on someone with active sores you can give it to them down there.
