So I had a c-section 3 weeks ago, while in the hospital I had a lot of trouble feeding due to latch and supply, so they had me pumping every time he ate even if he wouldn’t latch while my husband supplemented. Eventually he latched and I’m feeding him still pumping after every feeding. About 10 days later my milk was completely in but I was still pumping after every feeding which was so much. At first when pumping I was only getting.5-1 ounce. Now every time I get anywhere from 2-4 ounces each time. I wanted to get off of pumping so much so I slowly started to decrease how much I pumped and now I’m down to 4-5 pumpings per day. I feel like it’s easier to manage but I’m afraid my supply is going down. My baby is still eating regularly and he typically feeds anywhere from 15-20 minutes each time. Whit the occasional 5-10 minuted in between. Idk if this is normal, my breasts don’t usually feel full unless it’s over night. They used to get engorged and now not so much. My baby still poops and pees like he should , I’m just so new to this and don’t know what to expect.
