Something to ease minds

Sian

So this morning I woke up with a very serious pain. In the right side of my stomach area. I have a real high pain tolerance, so this pain was fricken horrible. I thought I was miscarrying.

I couldn't move at all, I had to asked my worried partner to check for blood. There was no blood, just tonnes of pain.

He wanted me to go to hospital because he was so worried(men are bad in a crisis) I said I would wait till morning

So this morning I woke up feeling like my stomach muscles were pulled. And I feel sick. So I went to see my midwife, she said it sounded like the pain was my uterus/ligaments stretching to make room for baby.

I'm quite a small person so the stretching makes sense. She checked to see if there was a heart beat, but being only 11 weeks she couldn't hear anything. She did say she could hear the baby moving around though.

She told me not to be worried at all, unless there is blood. Also she said a heat pack/hot water bottle and paracetamol will help next time it happens.

Hopefully for anyone who has/is experiencing this feels a bit better
