IUD Help!

Hi Ladies,

Let me first of start by saying... Thank God for a safe space to talk about shit things happening to our bodies.

I got an IUD in June. It was the right choice for me, as I was terrible at taking the pill and removing it meant no wait times for conceiving... However, I have had at least 10 day periods ever since insertion.

This being month 3, has been lighter... But super heavy days thrown in whenever it feels like. I was told 3 months and it would subside.

I have gone from a very active sex life with my boyfriend to a less active ( then we want ) one.

I need some guidance, can anyone share their experiences with an IUD?

I feel like I'm going mad, not to mention my hormones are all over the place.
