Has anyone here dealt with a possible cow’s milk protein intolerance in their baby while breastfeeding? We have suspected that my 10 week old might have been reacting to dairy. He was have green diapers with small specks of blood. My pediatrician suggested I eliminate dairy from my diet. We did that about 4 weeks ago. He diapers are no longer green and no visible blood. I do wonder if part of the change was just due to his digestive system maturing more or if it really is a dairy intolerance. Has anyone ever done a challenge to confirm dairy as the issue? If so, what did you do and how long did you wait to do it?
