How do I know if my baby is too warm at night?

Okay, so I’m obsessed with SIDS. I know it’s super rare, but I still find myself obsessing over it. One of the things I’ve read to reduce the risk is to not let them get overheated at night. I keep our house at 68 or 69 degrees right now (Texas heat sucks) and we have a standing fan in our room, but it doesn’t blow on the baby. So I have him in footed pj’s and a Halo Sleepsack. Is that too much? When I picked him up to feed him just now the back of his neck felt about as warm as I was, maybe a little warmer. But of course I’m paranoid and totally overthinking this so I thought I would ask Glow. 😂 I know the general rule of thumb is one more layer than you, but I mean my husband sleeps in underwear with a comforter, I sleep in pj pants and a T-shirt with two comforters. So idk which of us to base that rule off of, lol. Thanks ladies!
