Quick question, when going out can I storw the formula powder in a sterilised bottle and just add the water?

I know we'd usually store the formula in a separate pot but I don't have any right now.

Only reason I say no is because you should be measuring the water added to the bottle before adding scoops of formula in. 
If the formula is already in the bottle, it alters the amount of water in the bottle. You’ll notice if the water is in the bottle already once you add the formula the measurements go up.

I put the water in the bottle and use a travel formula container to mix when I’m out.

You should do the water first so you get an accurate poor. I got a travel container for my formula on amazon so I can have them pre measured and just have to dump it into the bottle

Yep why not? I’d say there’s no difference between a prepared sterilized bottle or a formula storage travel container.  Whatever makes your life easier!!

I do and it doesn’t effect the ratio of water to formula that much, just by a milliliter or 2 which is very tiny and won’t have and effect on anything, I asked the pediatrician about it.
