This is my 3rd little boy that I've breastfed and all of my boys have been small (as in 30-40th percentile.) however, my other boys were full term and around 7 pounds at birth. This time, my baby came early because of preeclampsia and was only 5 pounds. He's so much smaller than most babies still, but the dr. Says he's growing at a great rate and is slowly going up in percentage. I feel judged all the time like he's too small because I'm breastfeeding him. Does anyone else have a small baby? How long did it take until they were roughly the same size as their peers? At what age did people stop looking shocked when you told them how old your baby was?
