So I spent $4 at Wal-Mart for material and spent a total of 5 hours making this costume for my son who is due on Halloween. I really hope he comes the week before because I really don't want to be pregnant for 40 weeks. the pumpkin body has stuffing to fill out the outer layer and so he doesn't come in contact with the Polly fill there's an inner layer made with the same soft orange fabric ,my favorite part is the hat, each leaf took me about 30 minutes to shape, fill, and a stitch the vains on. the stem is just a long piece of fabric rolled and then green thread wrapped around to add detail and hold it together. I'm so happy with how it turned out.
