In bed sleeping device??

Question

5 day old baby hates the bassinet and we aren’t ready for him to sleep in his crib. Are there any devices that we can put in the bed that you’ve had success with?

I let my daughter sleep in her rock and play for the first month it’s not considered “safe sleep” but she wouldn’t sleep anywhere else and she was right next to me. She’s 3 months now and moving more so she’s in her bassinet I still let her take naps in her rock and play during the day

My son sleep in his mamaroo. He REFUSES to sleep in his cradle or crib and HATES being swaddled in any way,shape, or from. His pediatricians and cardiologist all okay us to let him sleep in his mamaroo at night. Now we have a dockatot so that we can transition him out of the mamaroo and into the crib. So right now the dockatot sits on the couch, he’s 9weeks old currently, so can’t fall out or roll from back to front. We’ll be moving him to his crib in the next week since he’s been doing good in the dockatot that past 1-2 weeks

I used a snugglenest by baby delight when traveling while my LO was small. It worked pretty well, it has a hard frame but mesh sides. It’s not the most sturdy, but it folded in half so it was great to bring along to grandma’s. For us, we have a full size bed so it was a tight fit when we were all in bed. We used it on a king bed and it worked well. I will say that my LO grew out of it fast, but he also preferred his bassinet by a month old so we didn’t use it much.
