TTC AT AN EARLY AGE?

Question

Is getting pregnant in your early twenties a bad thing? Like to be more specific TTC at 22. Do some of y’all wished you could’ve waited longer? Me and my partner want to have a baby but everyone as I’m friends wise tell us to wait longer because it’s going to be hard and we’re too young mind you none of them have any children of their own but our family supports us 100% we both have good stable jobs. HELP PLEASE. Some advice from people who actually have kids would be REALLY helpful!!! Thank you in advanced 🤗

So I'm 19, I'll be 20 in March and my husband (21) and I have just started TTC. Everyone who I've talked to says that they had a lot more energy to get up and take care of a baby at night while they were younger.
Plus, if you're financially stable, in a committed relationship, and emotionally ready than who's to say what is or isnt right for you. 🖤 Good luck!!!

I'm 21 and my husband is 24 our first baby is on the way (due April 2019). Your friends are just saying that because they aren't ready for kids yet if you're ready then start ttc

It just depends on your priorities and what you two value. People will judge you no matter what "You had kids too soon" or "You waited too long" or "You should have had more" or "You had too many." Don't worry about what others think.
My family is a good example. My older sister married at 21, was a mom by 23, and done having kids by 25. During and after they were done having kids they got settled in their careers, bought their home, got a dog, and all those other little life things. 
My husband and I were in a bit of a different spot. It took us longer to find jobs we could settle into so we bought the house when I was 23, got the dog before getting married when I was 27, and now I'll be having our first child a couple weeks before I turn 29. 
There are definitely pros and cons. My sister had a much harder time establishing financing for her house where that came more easily for myself and my husband. At the same time though now because we are more financially stable we aren't getting as much support from our families with starting our own where my sister had all the support from our parents and extended family. 
If you guys feel you are ready then I say go for it :)

I got pregnant with my oldest at 20 had her at 21. I don’t regret being young when I had her. I just wish I had gone to college prior to having her. I did go to LPN school after having her and I am an LPN. I also started for my RN. Found out I was pregnant with my son a week after orientation to college. Had him and continued until I was pregnant and sick as hell with my youngest. Couldn’t finish due to being so sick. I will go back but not til they’re all in school. I definitely am glad I started young though with kids.

I just turned 23 and im TTC. As weird as this sounds i have always been ready for a baby!!! My husband finally gave me the green light to start trying and you don’t understand how happy I was!!! This is our 3rd month TTC. He has a good stable job and so do I!! We talked about things and made it work. It’s all about if you are mentally, emotionally and physically ready. You can be 26-28 and not be ready! It depends on each person. Don’t listen to other people. What should really matter is what you and your SO think and the place you guys are in.

Its about whether or not youre ready to support a baby. My husband and I started TTC when I was 24 and he was 23, we were ready! It will be difficult but I peraonally always wanted to be young parents.

I'm currently 25 and 15 weeks pregnant. I had my daughter at 23 and my son at 24. I prefer being in my early-mid 20s. Definitely something I'd still choose if I went back.

My husband and I are 21-22 and are pregnant. I plan on continuing my online college classes still. We’re also working on mortgaging a house right now. We aren’t in the best place financially but we’re lucky enough to have my parents who are willing to help us out. It’s very possible:) I wouldn’t change a single thing tbh

I was married and pregnant at 23! My husband and I are very financially stable, which played a big factor in our decision to have a baby. My husband and I wanted a baby a year prior (at 22) but I told him we needed to be married first 😜 he proposed a few months later

22 and due with my second in earlier February. I love being a “young” mommy. I’m a stay at home momma and my husband and I are about to buy our second home! Do whatever makes you happy as long as you are financially stable enough for a child.
