Skipped 2 pills birth control

I have been bleeding since 08/29/2018 since I skipped 2birth control pills I have taken every last one since remembering but it’s on the 10th day now I spoke with my dr she said that happens when u skip and maybe even longer than a period it’s still full on bleeding every day for the last 4days my period has been tricking me coming and going like it’s gonna stop but doesn’t. Sunday is the day I start my sugar pills usually these are the days I have my period. But I been on it for 10days. My question is with I still continue to bleed tell the original normal cycle is finished and I start a new pack on 09/16/2018. Please help
