Okay so I am in Illinois, and I have a child with my ex. He is on the Birth Certificate but there is no court order but I know he has rights, and can take the child whenever if he has him. Well yesterday his step mom came over, and she ended up snatching my child from me, and her and my ex left. I did everything I could to grab him back! But failed. Now I heard if he left the child with someone I can go there and call the police, and have whoever is watching my child give him back! Is this true? Can someone lead me somewhere with more information. I am waiting to hear back from my lawyer so I thought I was ask!! Please one desperate mama!!
