So I'm 17 and jobless lmao.. In feb-april I worked as a hostess at Denny's, but I quit bc they never trained me how to do take out orders.. But I'm ready to start working again.. I just have a question what would be a good, decent job for a teenager?(besides restaurants lmao) 
My friend is applying as a shampooist at a salon, I thought it would be chill bc I want to study for cosmetology..

You can go to pet stores, hair salons will hire shampooists, also could check with day cares and some will hire as help

If you have a Costco or a Whole Foods in your area, try working for them. They both have great benefits and Costco pays very well. You might also try the Container Store.

Most daycares will hire as a teacher assistant. Grocery stores (personal experience: AVOID DELI!!), retail, phone stores.

Also, as a side note, if you don't know how to do something, just ask. If they refuse to teach you how (claiming no time or easier to do it themselves), go to a higher power. I had to do this a lot being the youngest person working in my department at a grocery store.

Working in retain entry level. Jobs like krogers,  Walmart,  and meijer are a few.. for something on the side you can try babysitting.

Grocery stores are always a great option. I'm at the Italian department at a Hyvee right now and base pay is $10. Avoid cashier/carts if you can. Hauling carts through snow is absolute hell.
