What type of birth control do you prefer?

I would like to know why you ladies prefer which ever type. Considering switching to the shot from the pill. Would really appreciate some feed back.

I've never tried the pill I used the shot for a year and it was literally my only option and it did it's job but I gained a lot of weight

The shot caused me to gain 30lbs in 6 months and gave me month long periods... Yucky! I hate the shot!

The shot has screwed up 3 of my friends systems and made it very hard for 2 of them to have kids once they decided they wanted them. It can make you gain weight, cause acne, and create a big imbalance of hormones for a prolonged period. Just set an alarm to go off everyday reminding you of your pill that's what I did when I was on it.
