Harmony Test!!??

Question

I see a lot of you ladies doing the Harmony Test. Did you just tell your doctor that you wanted to do it? How did you go about doing it? And how many weeks do you have to be? Is it only a certain week window? Let me know!!! :)

Most doctors only offer it if you are either over 35 or if you have a history of chromosomal abnormalities. Otherwise, insurance won't cover it and you will need to pay for it yourself. The test can check for gender but that is not the primary reason to get it.

There's no age requirement.. You may be more last likely to have complications the older you get but you can get it done around 10 weeks

Oh I'll already be 13 week tomorrow so I guess it's too late. When I first went to get my confirmation ultrasound, I had asked the nurse about a blood test to find out the gender(I didn't know what it was called at the time) and right away she said they only offer it for women over 35.

My doctor asked me if we wanted it done. He said between 10-13 weeks would be good. I am doing it next tuesday, i am going to be 12 weeks 5 days that day :)
