Ipad for 10 month old?

So my 5 yo just started Transitional Kindergarten and they use the ipad a lot in class. Hes learning coding already..We bought him one for a roadtrip in 2017. But for his birthday, my husband went out and bought him an ipad pro. so now we have this extra ipad laying around at home.. and my husband suggested we give it to my 10 month old daughter (he already purchased two kids cases off Amazon)🙈 I know the topic of letting kids have screen time so early on is controversial but my son has learned A LOT from his ipad through educational apps. Is ten months too early? If not, what apps would you recommend? For both babies and 5 year olds. my daughter loves Peekaboo Barn. Thats the only app we let her play with so far. My son is already doing amazing things with his Ipad. He knows how to write in cursive and hes learning how to write.
