I’ve always been Miss. Baby Names have to be perfect. Sound, initials, flow, meaning ext. Well now that we are finally expecting I’ve run into a dilemma. Right now, we’re calling our son Samuel “Sam” but keeping the door open as we’re only 17 weeks along. There is no doubt that one of his middle names will be Martin after my dear Father in Law who is no longer with us. The problem is I want to honor my husband too as he is a first time parent at an older age and basically thought he’d never have kids, let alone a son! I don’t want to chance the next baby being a girl (if we even have another one.) His name is Russell. The knit picker in me is disliking that Samuel and Russell both end in similar L sounds 😞. It’s not the worst especially if we use Samuel Martin Russell to break it up, but I’m just not sure. I want my husband to be honored and happy too. I don’t want to give up Samuel at this point either for a better flowing name ??? 🤷‍♀️
