Ovulation problems?

My husband and I have been ttc since 11/2016 and no luck. I finally got checked and turns out I'm not ovulating. My doctor wants to give me a pill to help me ovulate. My question is has anyone else had problems like this and what was your experience? Are there any natural ways to get my body to ovulate? Taking this pill scares me a little. I'm worried that it's just not natural and wondering if its something I should really try.

Hi Cynthia, my husband and I have been trying since 2016 as well and I have PCOS. I don’t ovulate on my own. I’ve done three rounds of Clomid and one round of IUI with Letrozole. No BFP yet but I’m remaining hopeful! I’m seeing an RE on Feb 4. Prior I was just seeing an OB/GYN. 
Not sure what “pill” your doc wants to put you on but good luck!!

I have PCOS which can also prevent me from ovulating, went to a fertility specialist, got all the work up done and he prescribes clomid. I’m on my first cycle, and I did ovulate, currently on my 2WW.

I am also not ovulating, currently seeing a doctor about it but still at the testing stage. Lots of hormone blood tests and ultrasounds. Interested to hear about the next step for treatment once they have run out of tests.
