Smoking marijuana while breastfeeding?

Any momma breastfeed there LO and still smoke? My son is 6 weeks & is bottle fed but has an allergy to a protein in cow milk. His Pedi wants me to bf...but I started back smoking. There is no problem stopping it just helps with my anxiety. Just let me know. Thanksss.

Dabber here. I dabbed my entire pregnancy for morning sickness. I’ve done hours of research on BF and nothing is conclusive so it’s pretty much a guessing game: which is safer, me coping with my PPD and PPA/PTSD/anxiety/depression and me dabbing which has conflicting reports about negative effects or taking a pill that has shown to cause negative effects? I dab once or twice a day, sometimes less.

I am breastfeeding and I vaporize medical marijuana for my PTSD. If possible, I would recommend finding a method other than smoking, as marijuana wont hurt your baby, but smoking could. But good gor you for doing what you need to do for your health and your baby!

I just recently had to switch doctors because where I am marijuana isn’t legal at all yet and she has acted like I have some problem with drugs because I tested positive for it in the beginning of my pregnancy and she constantly talked about drug testing me. However, I do plan to pick back up smoking, even while breastfeeding. It’s funny because my finacé pointed out a magazine at the store this morning with articles “marijuana and motherhood” “changing peoples opinions”. It’s only a matter of time before it’s federally legalized. I see no harm that it’s done and have SEVERAL friends who also smoke and smoked throughout their pregnancies even.
