Does knowing that you are not alone in feeling the way you do, make you feel any better?

For me, and it doesn’t help or worsen how I feel.

What makes me worse is hearing people tell me “well I have sad days too but I’m more positive or optimistic,” or “everyone feels anxious sometimes,” or “you have everything, be grateful.” I don’t know why but those statements always put me in a sadder mood.
