Is anyone else scared of dying during birth? Like I’m legitimately scared. I have a bleeding disorder where I don’t clot and my aunt has it too and she almost died giving birth. My mom said she’s worried about me too and my obgyn won’t take us seriously, he didn’t even know what the bleeding disorder was when we told him. I have an appointment with a hematologist October 31st that way I can deliver at the McMaster hospital where the hematology department is just in case I need plasma. I know that chances of me dying during birth are small and next to nothing if I give birth at McMaster but I’m still scared shitless. Does anyone else have a bleeding disorder (namely Factor 10 or a Platelet disorder) and had no complications during birth?
