dpo and hpt

hi all, i just wondered what you all think if you dont get a hpt till after af is due do you think it is due to late ovulation or is it possible it took long to show, i am on cd 32 i have a 31 day cycle last month and iam normally 28 and if i did ovulate late which is not normal for me ever in 15 years then it would mean the last time i did bd before ovulation was 5/6 days which i wouldnt be pregnant from anyway
