So Wednesday last week I went to the GP with minor pains in my upper left side and the tiniest bit of spotting. My GP decided to send me for an early pregnancy assessment. I had an internal scan as I would only have been around 6 weeks, however upon looking at the scan they decided to date me around 3/4 weeks. I had blood tests and they were happy with my HCG levels but asked me to return on Friday to redo the blood tests to check they were increasing. I received a call yesterday saying although my hormones had increased they hadn’t gone up as they would be expected to do they wanted me to go back ASAP to redo the internal scan. On the scan there was slight growth of the sac but still nothing showing within the sac.

Now this is where something doesn’t add up, the consultant said that my pain if I was having a miscarriage would be much lower. The pain stopped after only an hour anyway and I have had no more bleeding at all, not in the slightest.

Could they be wrong? I need advice???
