Baby sleeping on side safe?

Our little girl will be 4 months on the 19th. She hasn’t rolled over yet but can roll to her sides. She’s been rolling onto her side to sleep in her bassinet. Should I let her sleep that way? Is it safe considering she can’t roll over yet? What if she accidentally rolls onto her tummy and can’t get back onto her side or back? Ahhh so many questions!I feel like a paranoid FTM 😜😳

If the baby moves themselves than it’s fine. If you swaddle her I wouldn’t anymore so if she does she will be able to move better.

My kid sleeps on his tummy 🤷🏼‍♀️. I say whatever helps them sleep. I moved him to his crib once he started going on his tummy tho. We were planning on his being in his bassinet for way longer, but he sleeps so much better in his crib.

I think it's okay in a crib but could be risky in a bassinet. Will you be changing to a crib soon?

If she has good head control, she’s fine. My daughter has been sleeping on her belly since she was 2 weeks. She has had great head control since she was born. She’s most comfortable that way. Of course I check on her throughout her nap time.
