Financial advise

My husband of 6 months currently makes about $56,000 a year. I make around $1800 a month. We only have about $3000 in student loans. We own a house and a dog. I think we are financially stable to start TTC since we are only 24 years old (we both want to have children young). He does not think we are financially ready. He is worried that we won’t have enough money coming in after the baby is born due to me wanting to be a SAHM.

What are your opinions? Do you think we are ready financially? How did you know you were ready financially?
