My best friend struggles with infertility and has her first fertility appointment coming up here in October. We each have one child, mine 9 months younger. She struggled for 16 months with her first and I fell pregnant twice, both on the first time we tried but the first ended in miscarriage.

Now, my husband and I have started talking about trying for baby number 2 around December and I even had my birth control taken out today.

Knowing that she has her fertility appointments soon, would you wait until your friend fell pregnant first knowing she's already been struggling for 12 months this go around and help is on the way for her or would you try on your own schedule and worry less of your friend? We talked a little about it and she told me she doesn't expect me to wait but I could hear the hurt in her voice and her struggle breaks my soul.
