Before I explain why I feel so judged/guilty just want to share some background first I don’t want to sound like a know it all snob..

I’ve been baby sitting sense I was like 10 😳 I know scary!!! but my moms friends had like 8 kids , I was the oldest so it just kinda happened.

From the time I was 15/16 I baby sat, later on to Nanny that family FULL time. I was with them for 6 years! 15/16 all the way until I moved away from home at the age of 22!!!

Continued to nanny once moving out to Hawaii with my Husband and on the side on the weekends I was baby sitting 4 families ( obviously the dates were spread throughout the month )

So needless to say I have my fair share of experience with baby’s / toddlers & all the above.

Here’s where I feel guilty !!! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

SO MANY PEOPLE ASKED ME : “ Are you reading books ? Are you nervous? Are you prepared ? Have you bought “ what to expect when you’re expecting “

I said no?! No. I’m not. Confidently saying no- they question me. I mean I know their intentions aren’t to make me feel bad but... I’m sorry no!

I was given like... 5 books I’ll put a picture down below of all of the books I was given !!!

I feel so bad because I know her intentions are good but I feel like I’ve been doing this for so long what More can I possibly need to know

( I hope that doesn’t sound bad / I KNOW I can learn a thing or two from reading them )

But no I’m not going to read them. I’m just feeling very guilty like I almost feel like other moms are judging me , shaming me because I don’t have any desire to read these books what so ever. 0%
