So my SO family friend has given me some hand me downs for our daughter he brought them last night from visiting his mam and they absolutely reek of cigarette smoke to the point you know whoever this family is they have been smoking in the house. I hold no judgment to smokers as I’m an ex smoker etc etc but surely you wouldn’t think about handing down cloths especially baby cloths and children if you’re an in door smoker?. I felt sick the second I opened the bag idk how he didn’t smell it I swear his nose is broken. I’ve tried washing them but they still absolutely stink of smoke it’s like deeply embedded into the clothing at this point. I’ll be throwing them away but my SO thinks I’m been over dramatic about it 🤷🏻‍♀️personally I don’t.
