Membrane sweep regrets?

Question

Any downsides to a membrane sweep?
Anyone regret getting it?
Baby is due the 15th and I have an appointment on the 13th.
I might ask for a membrane sweep.  Baby is measuring 2 weeks early and supposedly could be 10lbs anyhow.
Thoughts?

No regrets here. I mean it hurt for like a second but I was basically inviting a child to come through my vagina at that point so that pain was nothing lol

It hurt. That's the only regret. 😭 Didn't help me much with my last but I'm going to give it a shot again I think.

I had two and still went 9 days over due🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t regret it but it didn’t help so was just pointless. Not sure I’d have one again

They couldn’t even do a membrane sweep because I’m so closed 😭
They offered me a balloon....still thinking about it....

Thank you all!  Yeah,  I couldn’t find any negatives to it except it might not work.  But at some point it’s worth trying!  No real loss.
