Beta went from 5 to 8...? Super low HCG

So first beta from Tuesday 9/4 was level 5. They told me to expect a chemical and my period.

I had to have another blood draw to make sure the levels dropped and went back to zero and I assumed they did because I never heard back from the doctor until today.

Blood test from Thursday 9/6...the level went up to 8?

Why is it going up and not dropping?! I’ve also been heavily bleeding since Wednesday so I totally assumed my HCG dropped.

Since I was just told this today, I’m going for another blood draw in a few hours.
