Ultrasound Schools?

Has anyone here volunteered at a sonography school? I’ve heard through the medical grapevine (I’m a nurse) that some schools have pregnant volunteers come in for students to give abdominal ultrasounds to. It gives them good practice and free ultrasounds for anxious mamas. The school near me is kinda disorganized and didn’t have a straight answer for me when I called and I was just wondering if anyone here had an experience with it.

We have one of those here. It’s not free but extremely discounted. $10-$15

I went to ultrasound school. We had volunteers for our OB semester. It was free and we gave them a CD and printed pics after for their time

That was a big part of how we learned to scan OB. We had volunteers come in once a week and they would get pictures for their time.
