So my hubby and I were looking at baby pictures of his son the other night because we are having our first baby, so he wanted to relive some memories. In most pictures of the baby in his crib, there are SO MANY pillows and little blankets on top of and under the baby. And the baby was really, really little.

I told my husband how dangerous that can be and how we are NOT having blankets or pillows in our baby’s crib until baby is old enough.

He looked at me like I was crazy and said “well nothing happened to (his son)” I tried to tell him that doesn’t mean something couldn’t have happened and I would rather be safe than sorry. There are other ways to keep the baby warm.

I’m kind of in shock that he wouldn’t really understand the severity and I’m just praying he respects my wishes enough to NOT DO THAT.

Any advice or articles on how to better explain this to him would be appreciated!
