Anyone that has had a natural birth before?

Anyone have a natural non medicated birth before that can give some pointers, techniques etc that work for you? Really want to have one been you tubing a lot of different things but don't know anyone whose actually had one. (No pitocin, no epidural etc)

Keep active until the end..... and just listen to your body really, stay calm and relaxed. Breathe. And honestly, the best advice I can give from a mum who's done it naturally with no pain relief 3 times, when it comes to the push, try and take it slow aswell, allow those muscles to relax, just pushing might cause you to tear, I managed to avoid tearing all 3 times.  Good luck mama you've got this. Our body's where built for amazing things.

I’ve had 3 vaginal births here’s my experiences: 1st one(6/9/10) I waited too long got to the hospital and was practically 9cm so things moved quick BUT I had a room full and was annoyed things went quickly but I did it and it was a blur.. 2nd delivery: (8/6/12) horrible back labor got to hospital and was 7cm asked for epidural but didn’t work still felt EVERYTHING it was horrible again a room full I was uncomfortable, crying, miserable. Just noisy and irritating! Well Baby #3 (6/24/17) I actually have my birth story on here if you click on my name but anywho baby #3 was thee best! So calm and peaceful. Just me and my fiancé! They broke my water and my nurse asked if I wanted the epidural I told her no matter what, no. I want to go completely natural. She said ok say no more. My contractions got intense and she just showed my fiancé were to place his hands on my back. Each contraction I hummed through them or swayed myself back n fourth with my eyes closed. It was peaceful but I could here everyone telling my fiancé how great I was doing. Time came to push and I just kept saying I had to poop she said oh it’s the baby I said yeah but I have to poop too lol I pooped then few minutes later it was time to push. I listened to my body and let it do what it needed I didn’t force any pushes. I remember the ring of fire does it feel good heck no but at that point my midwife asked for some oil from the nurse I felt her put it down there and continued to let baby work her way out. No tears or anything. I pushed next contraction got her head out and what a relief lol next contraction big push and there she was! Best advice.. is BREATHE, RELAX, LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! And try to have it peaceful. When you feel like giving up don’t! Your close to the end! Our bodies were made to do this and you an! I have to have a csection Monday because baby is breech it sucks knowing I won’t eat to do it again😏 best of luck you got this (sorry so long lol)

I did! I stayed active right up until the end of my pregnancy. Lots of walking, some squats towards the end. I took primrose oil orally starting at 36 week. I also used a birthing tub throughout most of my labor and I loved it!

Don’t have too many people in the room as it can be annoying to hear comments or people looking at the monitor saying “a big one is coming”...who needs that...My best advice is to keep an open mind...No two labors are alike. I had a natural
with my first & epidural with my second.

We did hypnobirthing and LOVED it, the main thing that helped me stay relaxed was smooching the husband and “horse lips” read Spiritual Midwifery excellent positive birth stories. Stay home as long as you can. If your mouth and throat are relaxed so are you nether regions and that helps things along. You can do it! Our bodies are so capable and amazing! Be determined and communicate with your birth partner your needs/wants.

I had a non medicated birth with my son. My best advise would be, if you have access to a doula, use one! Mine was awesome, every time I would get to the point where I was having a hard time getting through the pain, she would have me change position or try something new (ie- the yoga ball, or use the shower, or counter pressure etc). She kept me focused and I made it through without the drugs. Good luck!

Do you have, or can you find a midwife or doula? It would be really great to meet with one or both. Most have helped hundreds of women with their natural births. 
I had a home birth, all natural, and I learned most everything I needed to know from my midwife and my doula. 
I don’t live in a big urban area or anything. There are only 85,000 people in my city and we have at least 3 certified professional midwifes that work home births.
