The RE told us to abstain for 2 to 3 days before SO's sperm analysis to get the best results😐. She told us that if you abstain for a week that you get a lot of dead sperm.  So best not to wait until ovulation to get started BDing.

My husband and I BD'd every other day for 6 months and nothing, this month we BD'd every day of my fertile window and BFP. So if it's been a while and the every other day thing isn't working, it may not hurt to try it every day for one month!
