there is no minimum or maximum.. every girl is different

At a minimum, every time you pee.  If you leave them on too long, they smell.

What ever is best for you. Personally I have a very light flow so I only use like 3 a day.

Change them when you feel uncomfortable. I never leave one in for more than 4 hours during a light flow, and never more than 2 hours during my heavier days.
