Long Distance Relationship

Hello beautiful people,

My boyfriend recently went to college a few states away from me. It has been very devastating because before he left we spent everyday of his gap year together. Now he is making tons of new friends and wants to be with them. He gives me time but I feel as if I am taking away from his college experience. I've never been a social butterfly and don't have lots of friends or hobbies to fall back on. I've been pretty miserable and it seems he is fine. He also is interested in a open relationship which I am questioning. I am deeply in love with him and our relationship, I appreciate and have gratitude for our memories and our present. It's still hard. Does anyone have advice on this situation?
