Postpartum MAMA Care.. what to pack?

Ok ladies, I need some help! I’m so overwhelmed with thinking about everything I have left to do to get everything ready for my little man’s arrival.... and I haven’t even thought about what I NEED... 
for all you STM’s, what do I pack in my hospital bag and have handy at home for my own recovery after delivery? I need to make a list, and so far all I have is.........
Pads! Lol help 😁

They give you everything you need in the hospital. For afterwards I bought: large pads, Tucks wipes, Dermaplast, and a herbal perineal spray and balm that helped with recovery the first time. I also got some Metamucil and colace which were also helpful. Good luck!

You won’t need much at the hospital. They provide pretty much everything. Bring soap so you can shower and a change of clothes. You can ask your doctor or hospital for a list of what to bring to make things easy. Once home all I used was heavy overnight pads for a week or two then switched to regular pads the rest of the time. I didn’t really need anything for pain after leaving the hospital.

My 3rd baby.  I have thin but overnight pads,  dermaplast for pain, tucks pads, panty liners for after the flow stops,  breast pads, and colace.  The hospital will give me a perinatal bottle to use to rinse with.   
Hospital bag I still am packing.  
Travel soap, toothpaste,shampoo and conditiner
Toothbrush

Face wash and lotion

I had a c-section with my first so I don't know about the vag care but general care for myself (minus the painkillers I was on) :
-Huge pads
-Huge, ugly, black underwear
-Stool softener (the hospital might give you a prescription for it)
-Preparation H 
-Comfortable and loose fitting pants
If you're nursing then you'll want:
-Nipple cream 
-Breast pads
-Lots of easy snacks especially for nighttime feeds
-Water bottle 
-Nipple shield for if baby doesn't latch right away or to give your nipples a break

My hospital provided topical pain relief to use while in the hospital as well as to take home and a small container of tucks pads.  All I bought for home was overnight pads for the first week or so and more tucks.
