In the past I used the nuvaring and I loved that I didn't have to remember to take something everyday but due to my history of depression and anxiety it made me so emotional. I was crying everyday, just wanted to stay in bed all the time, made me paranoid, and was basically the same as when I am going through a bout of depression. Once I took it out I felt better in a matter of hours.

I wanted to know if anyone with a history of depression has tried nexaplanon and if it affected them in a similar way emotionally. I would love the convenience of not remembering to take a pill, but if I would have side effects like that again it's not worth it.
