When did you remove the tape strips after csection?!

Currently 3 weeks postpartum and all of mine are still there.  Does this effect the healing process or cause irritation if left too long?

I was told are the hospital that if they don't fall off within a week to take them off at 7 days postpartum.

You're supposed to wait until they fall off on their own. Mine did while in the shower about 3 weeks later.

Keep them on until they fall off on their own. I didn't get the steri strips or staples, just dissolvable sutures. I'm 3 weeks PP, and my doctor did a crappy job, and I had to go back this last Monday because my incision came open. Keep them on girl!
