Infant car seat or convertible??

I’m not sure whether or not I should get just a regular infant car seat or one that grows with them.

I was leaning towards one that grows with them so that (in theory) we would only ever need to purchase one.

But then I realized most convertible car seats don’t have carrying handles that make it easy to carry baby from car to house, car to store etc.

What do you guys recommend??
